Gary Kapanowski, Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Certified ASQ Bronze Lean professional, is Cost Accountant, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Lecturer at Lawrence Technological University Professional Development Center, and Contributing Editor for the Journal of Cost Management. Utilizing experience with metrics and the balance scorecard, Gary earned the 2006 Financial Executive of the Year award from Robert Half International and Institute of Management Accountants. Gary has been a featured speaker at over 170 professional annual conferences and lean workshops at over 45 universities with over 7,000 professionals and university attendees. He is on the editorial board and contributing editor for the Journal of Cost Management with 17 published papers on lean and accounting along with a business column starting in 2019.

Ravi Rao is a corporate emotional healer who works with executives and frontline staff to repair group culture. Trained as a physician, he is also a former McKinsey consultant. His 2012 book “Emotional Business” details methods for improving teams, communications, customer experience, and employee resilience.

Sonia is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, executive coach, and professor with 19 years of experience in healthcare operations, management consulting, leadership development, and culture transformation. She’s worked with dozens of companies in improving their performance, resulting in a collective financial impact of $30M. She’s trained and coached over 2000 emerging and experienced leaders. Sonia is the founder of the Influential Leadership Academy, where she helps leaders build emotional intelligence and master their influence. Sonia holds a degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University, a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Tulane University, and completed her professional coaching training at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Mohamed Saleh is an executive Lean advisor, professor, and founder of Vizibility LLC. Dr. Saleh has a successful track record anchored in two decades of hands-on Lean experience with a strong interest in making a global difference by providing distinctive leading-edge Lean-inspired education and advisory services aimed at helping organizations in healthcare and other industries achieve the highest levels of performance excellence. He’s an international speaker, writer, mentor, executive coach and experienced trainer with the ability to relate to all levels within an organization. His distinguishing factors include people skills, setting Lean visions, advising on system designs and leading full enterprise-wide organizational change. He has a doctorate in Business Administration and teaches at both the School of Engineering & Technology Management at Central Connecticut State University and MBA School at Elms College.

Dr. Shane Wentz is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with over fifteen years’ experience in operational excellence. His career has spanned both the public and private sector with such organizations as the US Army, Siemens, Nike and eBay Enterprises. His accomplishments include being the first enlisted Soldier in the Army being certified as a master black belt and being awarded the LEAP award for best enterprise level project (saving the Army over $90M). He is passionate about bringing value to people and organizations through his business consulting firm: A Change in Latitude Consulting.

Dr. Cindy Young, PMP, LSS MBB, CMQ/OE is the President/CEO of CJ Young Consulting helping organizations identify and overcome their knowledge management challenges in order to grow and succeed as a team. Knowledge management is her passion. She is also a curriculum developer and instructor for Leidos, a defense contracting company as well as a retiree from the U.S. Navy after 23 years of active duty service. Her doctoral study, Knowledge Management and Innovation on Firm Performance of United States Ship Repair, provided her the opportunity to gain additional professional and academic expertise to facilitate improvements in organizational knowledge management.
